You can play on Playstation 3 consoles with Blu-ray discs, multimedia capabilities. Those who have  Playstation Portable (PSP) can use it to work with Playstation 3.

Scratched CDs - is that a problem?

Surely this is nothing to be boasting about. But this is not a big problem as well, because you can handle it.

If this is not a scratch but the which is "glued" there pretty well, then try to carefully rub the cd with your finger while you run water over it.

Do not rub your playstation cd in a circular motion! You should do like this - start from the edge and rub straight inward to the center.

Then let it properly dry on air, only then you can use it for the game.

If this is a real scratch then - you should start from seeing which side the scratch is on. If the cover side is scratched - just color in the scratch (on top) with a black marker.

Shallow scratches - polishing down the surrounding plastic coating to make the scratch even more shallow (or non-existent). Take a little toothpaste (preferably with Baking Soda) and with a soft lint-free cloth start doing the following. Apply warm water to the surface of your playstation cd and a small amount of toothpaste. Then start rubbing from the inside to outside edge on the area that is scratched. Then run the disc under warm water and let the disc air dry completely.
