Stream Heroes Now

Streamheroes has been created for people who just want to watch Heroes, no fuss, no questions asked.

Why should it be any more difficult?

For those of you who haven’t discovered the great tv show, Heroes is an American science fiction television drama series created by Tim Kring, which premiered on NBC on September 25, 2006. The series tells the stories of ordinary individuals from around the world who inexplicably develop superhuman abilities, and their roles in preventing disasters; usually foreseen in painted images from precognitive painters. The series emulates the aesthetic style and storytelling of American comic books, using short, multi-episode story arcs that build upon a larger, more encompassing arc. The series is produced by Universal Media Studios in association with Tailwind Productions, and it is filmed primarily in Los Angeles, California. The executive producers are Allan Arkush, Dennis Hammer, Greg Beeman and Tim Kring.

Heroes has garnered a number of awards and nominations. The series was nominated in eight categories at the 2007 Primetime Emmy awards, including Outstanding Drama Series, and was also nominated for Best Television Series-Drama at the 2007 Golden Globes. The series won a People’s Choice Award in 2007 in the category of Best New Drama, and was named Program of the Year in 2007 by the Television Critics Association and Best International Program at the 2008 BAFTA Awards.

A little dabble into Season 3:

Season three opened with two one-hour episodes, airing on Monday, September 22, 2008 in the United States. The premiere of the third volume, “Villains”, was preceded by a one-hour broadcast of the red carpet premiere, with clips from the past seasons and previews of the upcoming season, along with interviews with the series cast and crew. “Villains” was originally designed to be included within the second season; however, because of the writers’ strike, the volume was carried over into season three. The lead-in to “Villains” showed Sylar regaining his lost powers, shown as the final scene of the “Generations” finale. Tim Kring said that the new volume would bring a cadre of villains to the show, hence the title. At the San Diego Comic-Con 2008 Kring screened the first part of the season opening episode of the “Villains” arc, entitled “The Second Coming”, which was shown in its entirety at Comic-Con and received a positive response from fans. Despite the success of the first two seasons, Villains has been receiving steadily declining ratings and less positive reviews. However, Bryan Fuller, who was involved with the first season and wrote two episodes, will return to the series starting with the 20th episode of the third season, since his series Pushing Daisies had been cancelled.

Fugitives will make up the last 12 episodes of Season 3 and will air from February 2 to April 20, 2009. We’ll be bringing it to you by then.

Enough of the talk. Click on Streamheroes.blogspot.com and be pleasantly surprised!

Which Items Do You Have To Have For Great Pastel Painting?

Often you see pastel paintings in exhibitions and wonder how the artist managed to arrive at the finished product?

PENCIL – When you go to a shop to choose pastels they often look quite gaudy colours or very dull, so I think people are often not sure which to choose.

As a contemporary artist I would say you are better not to choose to many colours to begin with. These days you can choose ready selected boxes to suit a certain type of subject. It rarely happens that you wish to use all the colours in the box.

Usually you are better to choose just a few colours that you know you will use. For example – initial colours for say landscapes, an assortment of different greens, but some neutral colours possibly to blend in or to highlight various areas.

PALETTES – You are the artist so you want to choose wisely, but generally, I personally would include the following: Cadium Yellow, French Ultramarine, Burnt Umber, Burnt Sienna, Cobalt Blue, Olive Green, Crimson Lake, White, Lamp Black and perhaps another shade of yellow and red. There are also different variations of pastels, so this has to be taken into the equation.

OIL – These do not crumble, but you cannot mix them with other pastels. On the other hand they are good because they do not smudge easily, great for fine work, because they do not crumble.

SOFT – These are crumbly, colourful, they smudge, are good to blend with and will cover quite large spaces.

HARD – Easy to erase, not so crumbly and great for first sketches.

I am a contemporary painter and would advice you that it is better to pay a little more for your paints if you want your work to last well. The pigments are usually better and therefore less likely to fade. If you wish to keep your pastels clean keep them in a box. However cover the box inside with ground rice. The roughness of the rice rubs against the pastels, it cleans any filth they may have picked up which they often get from rubbing against each other.

It goes without saying that you need to wipe them over before you use them.

Usually a lot of people just keep them in a box lined with corrugated paper or in improvised supermarket package trays. It is often better to work with your painting on a tilt as then, specks of the pastels that crumble will fall away.

Finally it is better to have your paper fixed to a board wider than the paper you are using.

Ensure take time to choose the paper you use and most important of all – enjoy your art!…

Pastels are generally a good medium to start painting with and everyone has to start at some place. They are easily accessible to the general public to buy, whether in the stores, art shops or maybe a local stationers. They vary in price considerably, but some sell on the market quite cheaply.

So there is something within the range of all pockets. Adults and children alike love experimenting with them, they take up little space so they are so easy to carry on your person together with a small sketchbook.

But one question remains a mystery: what is this young man with no apparent desire for riches really doing on the game show? When the new day dawns and Jamal returns to answer the final question, the Inspector and sixty million viewers are about to find out. At the heart of its storytelling lies the question of how anyone comes to know the things they know about life and love. Written by Fox Searchlight Pictures

Eighteen year old Jamal Malik is having an amazing answering streak on the Indian version of the television game show, “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire”. He’s only one correct question away from the big prize. However, some, including those associated with the game show, question how someone like Jamal, a self confessed non-genius who grew up in the slums of Mumbai, can be doing so well on the show when others who are brighter, more educated and wealthier than him have failed. Is Jamal cheating? Is it purely luck that they have asked him the questions to which he knows the answers? Seeing Jamal’s life journey to this point ultimately answers these questions. His life journey includes being orphaned at an early age; growing up with an older brother, Salim, who was both his guardian/protector and antagonist; and having a relationship since childhood with another orphaned child, a girl named Latika. His motivation for being on the show also may provide some answers to his success. Perhaps it was all just meant to be?

Be Cautious Of Internet Satellite Television On Computer Software Scams

Are you considering about buying satellite TV on PC Software. If so, you will want to read this blog post in it’s entirety to avoid being scammed by shady satellite TV for pc software merchants.

The first thing to look out for is pirated software. There are many illegitimate tv pc software dealers out there retailing pirated software to unsuspecting customers online. Here are some signs to look out for.

You should acknowledge where the tv pc software is being sold. 9 times out of 10, if you are purchasing tv pc software from auction sites, it is illegal. This is not true in every single instance, but most times, that will be the case. If you decide to purchase software from an Internet auction, contact the seller and ask them to provide you proof of the legitimacy of the software they intend to sell you.

You should also examine the sales page very closely to see if you will be getting exactly what you expect. Some tv pc software dealers write up hyped up sales pages that seem too good to be true. If it sounds too good to be true…well you know the deal. If something seems a little ambiguous, contact the seller and ask them to clarify. I recommend you email them instead of calling; that way you have it in print.

Additionally, you should only do business with tv pc software dealers who use a merchant account that offers buyer protection. Paypal for example, has a buyer protection insurance that will refund you your money if a product purchased through Paypal was misrepresented or not received

The Paypal buyer protection program is a 2-step process. The first step gives the buyer and merchant an opportunity to resolve things peacefully. If this is not possible, the claim can be escalated to a buyer dispute and Paypal will conduct an audit to see whether or not the customer is entitled to a refund.

When buying tv pc software, you should also be concerned with the quality of the programming. Many tv on pc software programs deliver horrific picture and/or program quality. Before purchasing a tv pc software program, try to find out what channels will be available to you and what quality the picture will be. Some companies display a sample channel stream to give you a preview of the programming and picture quality.

you should look for tv on pc software with a user-friendly interface, especially if you are not comfortable with computers. The better satellite TV pc software downloads have a simple interface that is easy to navigate with channels listed in a logical manner. Most will list countries with their featured TV channels. Each country will also have the available online channels listed from which you can choose.

This may be obvious, but pricing should also be considered. You don’t want a software program priced to low as that is almost a sure sign you are being sold an Illegal duplicate. However, you also don’t want to pay more than you have to for a legitimate copy. You should expect to pay between $29 and $49 for legitimate tv on pc software and this should be for a one-time fee not a recurring fee. Occasionally you can find deals for around $20 but this is rare, so consider yourself lucky if you do happen to stumble upon a deal that sweet.

The minimum requirements to access pc based tv channels should be reasonable. Most programs require a minimum of 300 MHz, 520mb RAM, P4 processor and a 56k connection. These are very minimal requirements and chances are your pc or laptop already meet these specs.

Reliable online satellite tv for pc software should have an acceptable download file size. They should not be huge files that take up a lot of space on your pc’s hard drive. Software with large files tend to include harmful viruses which is can be damaging to your pc. When reading the sales page, look for the download size and a guarantee that the software is free of viruses and spyware.

Finally, you should only buy from dealers who have a no risk guarantee. If a dealer doesn’t offer some type of guarantee it implies they don’t believe in their own software enough to stand behind it. If this is the case, run away and fast.

This Is The Best Kept To Varnishing Oil Paintings!…

As a contemporary artist I only know too well that oil paintings always need varnishing. Firstly they need protection.

Once varnished the painting has a protective layer over the paint, so it is easier to handle as it can then be cleaned. If the painting is left unvarnished it could easily get damaged. As the painting dries out the oil paint tends to get duller and gives a matt finish. However, you must not varnish until the paint is completely dry and this can take a considerable amount of time.

I think at times you would probably need to clean it first. Ordinary liquid detergent should be quite sufficient to do this. Using only a very tiny amount diluted with cold water to cover the surface of the picture, rubbing it very gently with a soft soaked piece of rag. Then maybe do the same with clean water, so there is no residue of the detergent used. It then needs to be left to dry thoroughly in a warm atmosphere.

Personally I would state that it is better to do your varnishing somewhere that has a good dry atmosphere with warmth. If the atmosphere is moist, the varnish often may appear to go into patches of white, which I personally find infuriating.

Now it is possible to get good spray varnishes which dry fairly quickly. A contemporary painter would probably prefer to apply varnish with a brush. Probably a fairly wide, soft brush is best. I would say though that it is better if the varnish, brush and painting have been near heat so there is no damp. Put the painting on a flat surface. I pour some varnish into an old tin lid and then very carefully and gently brush on.

It is tempting to go backwards and forwards and overbrush – not so good – as the varnish tends to create bubbles. Easier if you have a small painting, because you can go straight across from one side to the other. You have to endeavour to get as even and as thin a coat as you can. Tendency is to overvarnish, giving a thick layer and an annoying glossy finish.

If your painting is large it is somewhat easier to divide it into square sections and work laboriously on one section at a time. Once you have applied the varnish do try not to disturb it.

Then you need to find a place to put the picture where, while you are working on it, you can see where the light shows on the varnish. This way it will enable you to see any parts that you may have inadvertently missed.

Your picture then needs to be in a hopefully dust free area if possible, with the face side up.
Then you may find that you need to retouch your varnish. Clearly for this you need a thinned down varnish, especially where you may have what appears to be dull parts. Just be careful not to use too much, but it is quite alright to use it on top of half dry paint.

It is fairly usual to think the painting looks dull as it is drying – this is often the result of overpainting layers.

Tricks To Increase Windows Performance

How to Optimize PC Performance

Search more useful tips and tricks to improve internet bandwidth

• Clear the startup software: When you start up Windows, several programs start and get loaded on to memory. These take up precious memory. Ideally, you should remove them using the settings provided in the programs themselves. But, if you can’t, then use Startup Control Panel to do that. This program after its installation will be found in the Control Panel.

• RAM: A machine’s speed can be simply improved by adding more RAM rather than going for a CPU upgrade. Get some additional RAM and see the improvement. If you have adequate RAM, but memory supply seems to be bottlenecked, then use RamBooster. It routinely frees some memory and can be custom adjusted for your needs. There are several such programs, but most of them make your system unstable. I had found no such problems with Rambooster.

• Watch the programs in memory: Using software such as TaskInfo to find out which are the programs that are running in memory and weed out those that you do not need.

• Three-button salute: If you cannot get software such as Taskinfo, then just press Ctrl+Alt+Delete combination once to bring up the Close Program dialog box. Ideally, when you have all programs closed and your taskbar is empty, there should be just three programs in this box – explorer, system tray, and your antivirus program. All other programs should be a waste. Most common culprits are Microsoft office, RealPlayer, Winamp, antivirus scheduler, etc. Just remove all those that are not needed using Startup Control Panel or using msconfig from the Run dialog box.

• Increasing the performance of individual programs: You can increase the speed of a program, by setting the priority of the program’s process thread to either High or Realtime. Use TaskInfo (in Win 9x/ME) or Task Manager (in Windows 2000 by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del). Do not go overboard on this or your system will look very unresponsive.

• Active Desktop: Unless you run stock market price tickers on your desktop, deactivate Active Desktop to save memory. If you have enabled Active Desktop just to enable a GIF or JPEG file as the background, then convert the file to a BMP file and set that as the wallpaper without Active Desktop.

• Plain desktop: Remove the desktop background image and set it None. This will save some memory.

• Screen resolution: Set your screen resolution to 15 bit or 16 bit for both speed and saving memory. Set a higher level only when playing games and other such special stuff that require better resolutions.

• Clean the Desktop: Remove all unwanted icons from the desktop and shortcuts from the desktop and the quick launch bar. If you have shortcuts for CD drives, windows will check for their contents every time it loads up and cause a delay.

• Delete sound events: If you remove the sound events, your operations will get faster and are less likely to hang. To do so, go to Control Panel » Sounds and Multimedia » Schemes and then choose No Sounds.

The World Of Warcraft Community Exposed

In recent years the gaming industry has taken monumental jumps. It has kept up with the also ever increasing technological capabilities and now, for some games it’s hard to tell if you’re watching TV or playing a game. I think the best type of games are the type you really can’t beat because then they never get boring and they never become one of those programs that sits on the shelf and never moves. A good example of these games are the many different type of simulators put out by Microsoft, also, the ever popular “SIMS” games, but what I would like to talk about is “The World of Warcraft”

This is a game that can be played by people of all ages and skill level. I’ve watched the community to see what it is all about and have found that “world of warcraft” is a literal name. There is really an entire world of people devoted to the game. If you have had the game for a while and have kept it to yourself, you’re missing out. Join the community and see how many different new ideas and secrets you can find.

I have found that it is important to develop your own technique, but after that you need to go to different people within the community and learn about other people technique. This is not to say you need to change, but you probably will be able to adjust and be even more successful. Have you ever heard the phrase “4 eyes are better than 2″ well imagine thousands of eyes. I’m sure there are many things that you missed, and will be able to go back and find after talking to people and getting there ideas.

You can also play this game online. Although I don’t have experience playing WOW online, I have played many games online and find it very fun. I think it’s a lot better when you know you’re playing a person rather than a computer. It adds even more realism to the game, or any game for that matter.

Me personally, I love to explore. I can’t get enough of it. These days it’s hard to get out and explore the world so why can’t we do it online, and settle just a little bit of the desire to explore new things. That is why I like simulator games so much. I am not limited to what the game can provide. I can keep adding new “add on” There is an unlimited amount of things you can do, but the key is to join communities. Do your research. There are many books you can get that will also help you build your experience. In any game and especially WOW you need to read and research. It’s not a game that you just jump into and start shooting things. You need to want to put time into it, expect that you will start out small and get larger, but only if you’re willing to put the effort and time into it. secrets

This is not work though, this is fun, you should be jumping at the idea of how long it will take, and you are never “the best” at Warcraft because there is always something new you can learn. I would suggest to go to Goggle and type in forums and message boards for WOW, take the time and read through them before you join, choose the one that will fit your goals the best and start posting and asking questions.

Is Art Something To Be Loved?

Art presents itself in various shapes and forms today – to me it is always interesting and gratifying to appreciate other peoples art. You don´t necessarily have to rate it personally to accept the hard work that has gone into it and the thought behind it.

As a contemporary artists myself – I find it gives you freedom to express your inner workings.

If I had a bad day it terribly reflects in my paintings appearing more dramatic. On the other hand I also find it calming to paint seasoned skies.

Art is a very personal thing, what appeals to one person, others despise – the appeal is in the eye of the beholder. As a contemporary painters I find that these days there so many things classified as art which makes it more satisfying. As an example take spray painting, some people do this but also use stencils. Myself I often really admire some of the spray gun graffiti scene. Very clever youngsters do some amazing creations. Although many people would view this as vandalism.

Just look at pavement artists sketching out their pictures in chalk. This surely is a talent, but one that a lot of passers by can enjoy but yields the artist very little money. Many of us have been to Paris and the “Montmartre” region where the artists set their easels on the pavements doing quick caricatures much to everyone’s amazement and amusement.

More unusual perhaps are sand sculptures which feature in the Canary Islands and I am sure other places. They range from biblical scenes to dragons with real fire breathing out of there nostrils.

Mosaics too are greatly interesting and colourful as these designs can be used on plant pots, walls, gardens etc. and in oh so many ways.

Posters – somebody has to design them so they are thought provoking and catch the eye.

This is a amazing challenge for children too, who are encouraged to do posters for any number of things from road safety to recycling the environment. I love to see what sense can be made of driftwood collected along the beach. I think a special type of person is needed to do this with a very good imagination and creativity.

On this theme also amazing paper weights can be made from nice pebbles once they are cleaned, painted and varnished. It is also fun searching for the pebbles in different shapes and feeling how smooth they are when you run your fingers over them.

Designing and making your own cards not only brings enjoyment to many, but also brings individuality to the recipient.

Papermache is another form of art I have never tried, but I really like the results that people manage to achieve. Decoupage in this day and age seems to be greatly popular, along with scrapbooking, felting, patch working and needlepoint.

There are so many forms of art there surely ought to be something to suit everyone. Help is at hand as there are many workshops running in many crafts stores as well as local schools. Art brings fulfilment to many people, creating it or enjoying the art of others – it also relaxes you and can make you a host of new friends, so enjoy !…

Procedures For Pencil Portrait Rendering – The Slanted Head View

To craft interesting fluid portraits that breathe life you must appreciate the effect of the spine on the head and shoulders.

To create a relaxed feeling in your portraits quite often you will need to draw the skull slanted. Most people when they are at ease will view with their skull slightly tilted. In this article we will point out what to look for and how to tackle the tilted head.

In the slanted head pose the model will show a clear change of bearing from the action of the torso to the slant of the skull. Also take note of where the shoulders are. The model’s shoulders will almost be aligned with the bottom of the nose.

With this information in mind, the first step is to measure the angle of the skull’s slant (from the base of the chin to the top of the skull) before sketching the arabesque. To do this hold your pencil (or a knitting needle) at arm’s length, closing one eye, and adjust the angle of the held pencil so that it corresponds to the angle of the tilt. Keeping your arm straight and locked you can now transpose this angle onto the drawing.

Now that the angle of the slant is found you can sketch the arabesque and verify the height/width proportion.

The axis of the features is perpendicular to the slanted facial angle. A common trend while drawing is to straighten out the features so that they are horizontal to the paper. Be on the lookout for this and ever on-guard because this trend is subtle and is constantly trying to sneak into the drawing.

It is not a suggested practice to situate all of the features at this stage. It is actually more correct to first fix the brow line and the base of the nose and work from there.

When the head is slanted you should also be aware of the effect that gravity has on the face. The flesh, in particular on the underside of the jaw, will be somewhat pulled down. This effect is quite faint but for those of you who are advanced portraitists you should capture this in your original construct. If you are a beginner just file this information away for future reference.

Take note, also, of the neck. The essential visible neck muscle is extended. Its companion is compressed. This opposing muscle action is referred to as abduction/adduction. This action of the neck always renders a beautiful effect.

Once the arabesque is established and you are satisfied with its accuracy relative to size and form you can draw the features and hatch-in the main big darks and lights. Keep the tone simple. The more complicated the lighting arrangement, the more this applies.

The value arrangements are worked further, but are still somewhat crude and unresolved. The principal concern is the overall light effect.

There are a few items to keep in mind as you prepare to finish the sketch:

1. Determine how far you want to carry the sketch. You can get a real nice effect if you give the shoulders and upper torso an unresolved quality. Remember, drawings are not meant to resemble photos.

2. As you gain a better understanding of the facial structure the trend exists to sketch what you know rather than what is actually there. So make sure you always pause to observe the life model or the subject in the photograph.

In conclusion, the tilted skull view is special in that the features will be centered on a tilted axis and that the stress in the shoulders will be different from one side to the other. Also the transition from the torso and shoulders to the head should be carefully observed.

Guidelines For Pencil Portrait Sketching – Rendering Children

The drawing of children demands freshness and directness of purpose. Regrettably, there are not too many quick and ready rules. Let us just say that children’s portraits demand a keen and patient eye.

For those who intend to do commercial portraiture the good news is that children’s portraits can be rewarding. There are very few draftspersons who can competently draw children.

Soft lighting works best for portraits of kids. The kid could be looking toward a bright light source. This sort of light source will illuminate the kid’s face and create an introspective facial appearance. The tone range goes from light to medium with the eyes very dark.

Addressing the facial proportions of kids in a general sense is somewhat of a waste of time. Their facial sizes change dramatically within a time span of six month.

Suffice it to say that the younger the child is the smaller the face in relation to the head. The eyes also appear larger although this can be deceiving. A child’s nose can be very difficult to sketch – there is nothing really to latch onto. And the mouth is extremely faint and sensitive not to mention its constant motion if you sketch from life.

If you do want to mention some broad proportions you can say that whereas an adult face is about 1/2 the size of the frontal skull side, a kid’s face is about one-third of that size. Also, observe how small an infant’s neck is compared to the size of the skull.

At its widest segment, a baby’s face is about five eye widths wide. The width between the eyes is a tiny bit more than the width of an eye. Both the mouth and the nose are approximately the width of an eye. Again, we must stress that these proportions are only a general rule and individual face sizes can be different. The above broad rules can be made use of for comparison purposes when you do your own careful observations of a particular face.

As always, start your rendering by striking the arabesque and then correcting the height/width proportions as necessary.

After establishing the primary facial proportions (i.e., the brow, nose, mouth, etc.) block-in the major light/dark patterns. Then, stump down the graphite using your fingers or a stump. To render and re-shape the lights employ a clean kneaded eraser.

Now the features are carefully placed, sized and partially sketched. There are two points to take into account here:

1. Your pencils must be very sharp, and

2. At this time, you should never fully finish a feature. Draw each feature no more than 50%.

Once the features are sized and placed as best you can, you can now further expand them. Do not neglect the hair and sides of the face. Everything should be advanced together. As you proceed to sketch you should always be on the lookout for errors in proportions and tone.

In conclusion, the basic methods employed to sketch a child’s portrait are of course always the same. Above, we listed most of the differences in size and shape between an adult head and that of a kid. Your frame of mind when drawing a kid should be one that reflects the innocence and the softness of a child.
